Grreeeaaat. I knew this would happen sooner or later. Chamina's got a new word in her expanding vocabulary: $%*@. One syllable, rhymes with lit, pit, or female mammaries. I uttered the word quite casually the other day (hey, I didn't think she was paying attention!) and lo & behold, she caught hold of it and won't let it go. Now she says it all the time, sings it even, like she's mocking me somehow. She's in her crib right now, supposed to be napping, but instead I hear "$%*@, $%*@, $%*@". Another bad mommy moment.

Hahahah! Marley totally went through that phase! It's crazy cause she would use it in the correct context. It took a while, and a lot of "oh, man"'s and "oh, schnikies" to take over the "oh $h!t".
BAHAHAHA!!! she is too precious to be using such foul language. i expect it from marley... J/K!!! that picture is so funny because i can just imagine her saying it over and over again, all sleepy and disheveled. btw, gani also says "oh $hit", but it actually sounds like "a-chat", so it's nothing that's going to get us in trouble just yet.
We swear in Arabic at home. That way Joaquin and Sofia don't offend anybody in the States. They do alert the counterterrorism people, though.
after milo atticus goes to bed we are off and running: we try to insert a curse word in every breath, just to get it out of our systems.
